Biography
Leticia Rodriguez has been performing since the age of 3, when she began dance classes. Her musically inspired background includes her Tia Eva Garza as a mentor and inspiration for a creative life.
Ms. Rodriguez also has family in the music industry. Her two brothers, David Rodriguez and Philip Rodriguez, as well as her niece, Carrie Rodriguez are also performers.
As an adolescent, Ms. Rodriguez was practically destined for life on the stage, attending Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She went on to have a career as a dancer with various performance companies before she founded her own performance company in Austin, Tx, where she has lived for most of her adult life.
In 1999 Ms. Rodriguez founded Performance Encounters, a company striving to perform community and culturally based performances.

Ms. Rodriguez ended Performance Encounters in 2011 when she decided to concentrate on her singing career and is currently working on her first solo CD, which is planned for a spring/summer release.
She lives in Austin, Tx with her husband. She is also the mother of two adult children.
